TALA Training was formed in 2009, initially to service the needs for construction related training for staff within the Akela Group. TALA continues to provide health and safety advice for all Akela Group companies.

TALA has grown steadily to become a leading, stand-alone test centre and provider of construction health and safety training and consultancy services, thanks largely to our commitment to professionalism, reliability and willingness to work with clients to achieve their health and safety goals.

Our industry-focused chartered health and safety instructors are fully qualified to deliver the full range of nationally recognised accredited construction training courses such as CITB Site Safety Plus; SMSTS and SSSTS, as well as short duration in-house courses such as PASMA, Abrasive Wheels, Fire Warden, Manual Handling, Work at Height and Vehicle Marshall/Banksman. Courses can be delivered at our modern, fully-equipped training centres or on-site at customer premises.

In addition to training, we offer a full range of independant health and safety consultancy services.

With locations in Glasgow (Thornliebank), Edinburgh (Gogarbank) and Manchester (Salford), TALA Training is an approved training organisation with accreditations from many awarding bodies including: CITB, ECITB, CCNSG, NPORS, PASMA, IPAF and IOSH.
